The Calaveras County Democratic Central Committee meets at 6:30 pm the second Thursday of each month in the Supervisors' Chambers at the County Center, 891 Mountain Ranch Road, San Andreas.

The Calaveras County Democratic Central Committee is the local wing of the Democratic Party. Membership on the committee is based on local Supervisorial Districts, and there are vacancies all districts.

COUNTY CENTRAL COMMITTEES

County Central Committees are comprised of local Democrats elected to the County Committee, as well as any partisan-level Democratic nominees or Democratic Elected Officials. The County Central Committees are in charge of the Democratic Party campaigns in their county, under the general direction of the State Democratic Party. County Committees are elected every two years. During their term, they hold fundraisers, plan election activities, and many open campaign headquarters. Several County Committees have permanent offices and staff.
